Locate Signal: Data Deletion Request
At Locate Signal, we take user privacy seriously. This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data associated with your Locate Signal account. You can choose to completely delete your account, or you can request deletion of specific data while keeping your account active.
Important: Deleting your data is irreversible. Once you submit a deletion request, you won't be able to access the deleted information or use the features associated with that data.
Deletion Options
- **Delete My Entire Locate Signal Account:** This option will remove all your data associated with Locate Signal, including your account information, dashboard configurations, and any other data we hold about you.
- **Request Specific Data Deletion:** This option allows you to choose specific data types you want to be deleted. We will erase the requested data while keeping your account active.
Data We Collect
- User Name
- Email Address
- Dashboard Configurations (e.g., preferred views, saved reports)
- User Activity Logs (e.g., access times, actions performed)
How to Request Data Deletion
There are two ways to request data deletion:
- Contact Us: You can send an email to support@locatesignal.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request – Locate Signal – [Your Username]”. In your email, specify whether you want to delete your entire account or request deletion of specific data types.
- Contact Form: You can also submit a data deletion request through our contact form. Please visit our Contact Us Form and fill out the form with “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line. In the message body, specify whether you want to delete your entire account or request deletion of specific data types.
Processing Time: We will process your data deletion request within 5-7 business days. We will send you a confirmation email once your request is complete.
